If Cobb plays, and reaggrivates that injury, then he, the coaching staff, and the trainers are all a bunch of dumbasses. Cobb should sit this week.

The only way this makes sense is if, it was a grade 1 sprain, which takes 2-3 weeks, the shoulder is healed and stable and this brace is just a little insurance that he doesn't hurt it again. If this is a grade 2 or worse; its 6 weeks or longer to heal and no brace I know of can stabilize the shoulder from a direct hit. But hopefully the Bears and Hawks will be cognizant of his injury and wont hit Randell up high. Ya that could happen.

If Cobb plays the next two games w/ an unstable AC joint he has a .000001% chance of not being DONE FOR THE YEAR. Hell Seattle will take a couple of 15 yarders for a cheap shot; Chancellor may come back to camp just to try to collect the bounty on Cobb.

Steve correctly said in another thread, there's 100 guys like Myles White; only problem is the other 99 will need 1/2 seasons to a year to learn our playbook. So consider this my official White watch thread, though I like that Julian Talley dude as well, ya know for another 1 of 100 dude that could contribute in a week or 2.

Man's game so man up or sit down and play you some hopscotch.

White was just signed to the Giants' PS. Of course if Cobb went down the Pack could swipe him up on their active.

Although I'm certain the JJ signing was due to Jordy, I could be persuaded that the timing was due to cobb possibly sitting. There aren't many instances that come to mind where the Pack forced a player back too soon. I imagine they'll exercise caution here as well.

As for the Bears, my girls hit harder than them.

I'm also of the mindset that Randall Cobb will be more decoy than integral part of the offensive scheme. I don't see Cobb having 10+ targets this game. I think the Packers go heavy Davante Adams, James Jones and Richard Rodgers during the passing attack.

So with that mindset, I say the china doll will be just fine.

If you feel it's too risky 2 weeks from now, then it's asinine to think 1 week from now is safer. He hurt this diving...no contact with another player. The ground isn't made of pillows in Chicago...he could just hit someone's shoulder funny and reaggrevate it.

The Bears may not be the Seahawks, but they're not 95 pound horse jockeys either. You can't predict the form of contact that will get you hurt...the ground, incidental bump in the field, a hard tackle, or targetting. That could all happen no matter who the opponent is.

Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : uh oh
