Improved players
I have to say I think the most improved is OG Josh Walker, not that he's great... but he has improved a lot since last year.

I think one also has to throw DL Mike Pennel and OLB Jayrone Elliott out there as most improved, while there clearly showed the potential last year, they weren't able to put it all together and this preseason the looked like they were able to come a lot closer to pulling it all together but still may not be ready quite yet but they'll get chances to show that they are.

Also I think CB Demetri Goodson could end the season as the most improved... I know some were calling for him to be cut when they signed Jones (I don't understand why but), the CB coach basically said that Goodson started camp behind the rookies and then later passed them all and keeping improving this preseason and the depth chart reflects it as Rollins and Gunter are listed after him. I think he has the potential t keep developing and improve this year and could possibly play as the #3 CB (I'm not saying nickel back because that's Hyde's but he's at Safety).

Breakout players

I'm still not sold on the hype, but I'm hoping that the hype can become true with WR Davante Adams, TE Richard Rodgers and WR Ty Montgomery... it would be awesome if two of them could break out and have a huge year.

OLB Nick Perry... it's time t put up or shut up.... you have a ton of potential and have never been able to put it together. With 3 ILBers and maybe Matthews playing there some... you might finally be pushed into a big time role... can you step up? Or will you step out?

CB Casey Hayward has 9 INTs in two and a quarter seasons. Hayward is going to get burned at times... the questions is can he make enough turnovers to make up for it? And how many INTs could he get playing full time?

SS Sean Richardson... the Packers said they want to find more ways to get Richardson on the field... and one way some of us fans have been calling for is to use him as a coverage ILB... well now the Packers only have 3 ILBers and this might be the perfect time to attempt it... using Richardson as a dime DB / coverage ILB role.

Rookies / 1st year player

I think it's possible we could see FB Aaron Ripkowski used in some ways Kuhn normally isn't and have him have a mini breakout. Ripkowski is surprisingly athletic, and it would most likely catch teams off guard to have screens or pass backs to a FB. Of course if Ripkowski doesn't show better at being a true FB, other teams would quickly catch on... but if he's able to get all the normal FB stuff down, I think their is a of extra stuff they might be able t do with how athletic he is.

Again give credit to OG Josh Walker for seeming to step it up very well.

LB Jake Ryan, I feel like he could possibility pass Palmer before the season is over as starting ILB (when Matthews isn't playing it).

And of course Randall, Rollins and Gunter... they'll need to be able to step up... I think we'll see both them making plays some but also at times making rookie mistakes and badly getting burned.

MOST IMPROVED:
-Myles White: Actually good enough to make the team this year. For a little bit at least.

-Nate Palmer: Could get some work inside when the cast comes off. Finally found a position.

-Pennell: Agreed, he's taken a step up. Needs to maintain his anchor if he wants to be an NT, but it looks like he's been getting it done at DE too.

Tolzien: Dude has become the real deal. If (Lord forbid) Aaron had to miss time, I'd trust Scott in there to manage the game in his absence. Haven't felt this comfortable with the backup QB position in awhile, and I liked Flynn.

BREAK OUTS:

-Richard Rodgers: It normally takes a year for a TE to get up to speed in this offense. Everyone bitches that this dude is "ordinary," because of his 40 time. He's gonna show people he can still produce.

-Davante Adams: It normally takes a year for a WR to get up to speed in this offense. Everyone bitches that this dude is "ordinary," because of his 40 time. He's gonna show people he can still produce. Dude can ball.

Clinton-Dix: Dude has what it takes. He's got a year of experience under his belt, and it's gonna show.

BEST ROOKIES:

-Montgomery: Dude is the real deal. He will take a year to develop, but he may contribute on ST this year.

Randall/Rollins: I like both these dudes. They're gonna be players. I think Randall will contribute more right away.

-Gunter: Another underrated player due to 40 time. But he can get it done.

-Hundley: He's looked awesome so far. In 3 years he'll be ready and chomping at the bit.

dfosterf (7h) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (7h) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (8h) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (8h) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (11h) : what
Martha Careful (21h) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (21h) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Van Ness played most of season with broken thumb

Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Who?
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Texas’ WR Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Bills, Browns, Chiefs, Falcons, Packers and Titans starting next week.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Will there be a tracker on the ball or something?
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : uh oh
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : Too bad camera's can't spot the ball as well.
Mucky Tundra (1-Apr) : So will the chain gang be gone completely or will they still be around as a backup or whatever?
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : The method for measuring first downs in the NFL will switch from chain gangs to camera-based technology in 2025, the league announced.
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : A big step in the right direction. Just put in the college system is very very good.
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : NFL has passed a rule that allows both teams to possess the ball in OT during the regular season
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : Touchbacks on kickoffs will now bring the ball to the 35-yard line.
beast (31-Mar) : It might of gotten more popular recently, but braiding hair (even men) in certain cultures goes back for centuries.
Martha Careful (30-Mar) : Is men braiding their hair a new style thing? Watching the NCAA men's tournament many players have done
Zero2Cool (29-Mar) : Ha. Well, it'd be nice for folks to reset their own password. Via validated email 😏

Mucky Tundra (27-Mar) : Only career highspot was a 200 yard rushing game while playing for the Cardinals
Mucky Tundra (27-Mar) : He is a former Packer. Drafted out of Northern Illinois. Didn't do much in GB.
dfosterf (26-Mar) : Despicable
Zero2Cool (26-Mar) : Former NFL. I think Packers too
