Play of the day:While there were plenty of contenders, the best catch of the day — and perhaps of camp so far — came from TE Richard Rodgers. In an 11-on-11 drill, QB Scott Tolzien was throwing on the run to Rodgers, who was curling back on the right sideline. When Tolzien missed his mark wide toward the sideline, Rodgers leaned back and with one hand — his left — snared the ball and gathered it into his body as he fell to the ground with helpless DB Kyle Sebetic looking on.
"Richard has really good hands, honestly right up there with anyone on our team," Tolzien said of the play. "I really didn't think it had a chance when I let go of it."
