Trent Dilfer won a SB.

Hell, Joe Flacco won one. And look what happened to Aaron's team this past January.

Anything's possible.

We aren't the Giants of old who could win with Jeff Hostetler. Our team is Aaron Rodgers for the most part.

However, Uffda gave reasons why it's highly unlikely for Tolzien to lead the Packers to the SB this coming season.
Could he be good enough to do it in the future? Maybe.
I just don't see it as a strong possibility now.

Maybe our defense will FINALLY start doing it's part, and take some of the pressure off our offense. That would be a nice change of pace, wouldn't it?

Tolzien has looked fine in preseason, and in fact looked decent back in '13, when allowed to throw mid-to deep range. What killed him was Mike's propensity to coach scared, which resulted in repeatedly forcing short throws, such as the one that JPP called out in the defensive huddle before he pick 6'd it.

I'll say the same thing here that I said when Barclay got his first start, and everyone thought the season was over. LET'S SEE HOW HE DOES. IT AIN'T OVER.

The defense gets way too much blame. The packers forced 4 turnovers and pitched a shutout in the first half against seattle. Yet the MVP and the packers offense only score 16 points in the first half.

At any rate, if Tolzien had to win some games, he'd be surrounded by weapons. Let's just say I'm not living in fear.
