Yeah his deep passing went down a whole 1.5% from 2013 and 0.4% from 2012. The fact of the matter is Rodgers throws short high percentage passes a lot and throws them well. He also is absurdly efficient at throwing deep passes. There is absolutely no need for him to change his game at all and if anything he should throw deep more often than he does since he's so damn good at it. While any scrub can run an offense that is nothing but short dink and dunk passes Rodgers has skills that make him insanely accurate downfield and that's something that other teams can't do. I say we keep using something that's an actual advantage we have instead of stifling it so we can be more like other teams with less skilled quarterbacks.
