Per Michael Rodney, the Eagles might be willing to trade ILB Mychal Kendricks who had a ProFootballFocus rating of +19.1 last season.

Four Packers played ILB last season and here are their names, snaps and ratings.

Jamari Lattimore GB 285 snaps -2.1 rating
Sam Barrington GB 364 snaps -4.1 rating
Brad Jones GB 207 snaps -11.2 rating
A.J. Hawk GB 852 snaps -11.6 rating

Ted is going do something like this. Right now Barrington is all we have with no depth behind him.

Chip Kelly looks to be amassing picks and assets he can deal to move up for Mariota. He just added the LB from Buffalo in the McCoy trade, Alonso.

We made a trade with Philly several years ago that worked out pretty well for us. Would love to get another Al Harris type production out of a Philly LB.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

Agreed. I'd be down with this, but you know we don't trade picks. Maybe a player for player.

Would you trade OLB Nick Perry for ILB Mychal Kendricks?

My guess is the Chip Kelly wouldn't... as Kelly has claimed his moves have been for cap reasons... and IF Kendricks was traded it would most likely be because 1) They just traded for the Bills LB who might replace him... and 2) Because Kendricks is going into his contract year and going to be looking for a big pay day. (Perry is also going into his contract year and Perry was drafted before Kendircks).

Though Perry might be the replacement for Trent Cole who just left the Eagles and the Eagles in theory could get a long term agreement from Perry before playing for them... and Perry in theory might be a lot better in the Eagles system as the system is much more aggressive and much more about attacking the backfield while leaving the DBs/ILB in man coverage a lot more. But more of a pure pass rushing role might be good for Perry.

But I'm not sure Thompson has ever traded away players that could make the final roster with the exception of too much drama for one reason or another... the cases being Javon Walker, Brett Favre, and Corey Williams...

Walker wanted the Packers to redo his deal after he became a probowler, the Packers didn't as he had a couple of years left on his contract and he demanded a trade or he would retire. Packers basically called is bluff... he came back and was later traded and got his big deal with another team.

Favre.... ummm I think we all should already know.

Williams was going to be a FA and he and/or his agent got word from the Browns that they were going to give him this HUGE DEAL... Williams of course got so excited... problem was Browns legally weren't yet allowed to be talking to Williams and the Packers put the franchise tag on Williams planning to keep him.... Williams nor the Browns like that too much... so they worked out a trade... which ended up giving Williams less than what he thought he was going to get because they also had to give up a draft pick to get him.

Eggles run a 4-3 don't they?

Which is partly why Rodgers was able to burn them so badly... Rodgers is one of the best (if not the best) against blitzing and single coverage.
