That's how I saw it, Husker. The DB was going for the ball, and has just as much right to it.

I'm in the no PI camp, the DB has a right to the ball and he obviously beat the receiver to it. It was a perfectly bad situation for the SeaHags. I don't believe Wilson or the receiver knew the DB was there(out of their sight). Wilson would not have risked it if he saw the DB and the receiver would have went harder to the ball if he had known. SeaHags luck finally went against them. They have always been on the side of good luck since our "Fail Mary" in Seattle so it's about time it goes the other way. This should have been GB's Super Bowl.

In chronological order:

1 the ball was thrown and in the air

2 the DB hit the receiver

3 the ball bounced off the receiver to the surprised DB who playing for a run, but took andvantage of a lucky bounce. intercepted it. Yeah, as a matter of fact, it probably did accidentally stick to his hands.

Tell me if you saw that any different.

It was a totally bonehead move to call a play and throw it right where the D was stacked up to stop the obvious run.

It doesn't really matter what the Packers would have done in that situation because Rodgers to Nelson Adams or Cobb seems a lot more likely to be complete than Wilson to Lockette. Also I don't really see Lynch being stopped 3 straight times at the goal line especially against NE whose goal line D I don't think is all that special. Seattle tried being cute with the time management stuff and forgot the most important thing is to actually put the ball in the end zone.
