Refs gave the Cowboys this game with numerous helping calls; but, the Lions didn't bury them like they could have. I have no fear of Dallas from what I watched today.

The league must think they will make an enormous amount of money on the Packer/Cowboy Ice Bowl II.

Lions decided to change their philosophy in the 2nd half. I have no clue why. I still don't get the call to punt after the stupid play call on 3rd and 1. Felt like the 4th and 26 Philly game where we played not to lose.

Detroit had this game. I still say that was a PI on Dallas and am amazed they picked up the flag after it was announced. Have never seen that before.

The cheap holding calls with automatic first downs on the drive that followed was incredible when no Offensive holdings were called.

I should feel bad for the Lions, but seriously this is why your franchise is terrible.

Be hearing about that PI/Non- PI call all week.

If I was a lion's fan I would be more upset about no calls on two clear holds on the Cowboys' final TD drive
Circular Arguments: They are a heck of an annoyance

Don't like the Lions or the Bears or the Vikings, but I really can't stand the Cows.

Cowboys avoided second penalty on that call

In addition to the decision of the officials to throw the flag but ultimately not enforce a pass interference call against Cowboys linebacker Anthony Hitchens, Dallas avoided a second penalty on the play.

After the flag was thrown, Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant sprinted to the field without a helmet to argue the call loudly with the officials. Bryant wasn’t penalized for the move, which would have given the Lions 15 yards and a first down, extending a drive when the Lions led, 20-17.

Ultimately, the Lions should have had a first down inside the Dallas 15, since the penalty on Hitchens should have given the Lions the ball at the 29, and then the Lions should have been awarded half the distance on the Bryant penalty. Instead, the Lions took a delay-of-game call on fourth and one, moving the ball from the Dallas 41 to the Dallas 46. Then, a 10-yard shank punt gave the Cowboys the ball on their own 36, 64 yards from the game-winning touchdown.

Still, even without the Hitchens penalty, the Lions should have had a first down on the Dallas 26, because Dez Bryant should have received a personal foul for inexplicably running onto the field without a helmet at a time when the defense was playing.

Lions killed themselves too. They changed their offense philosophy in the second half and ran the ball more. Not sure why when they were doing pretty good with what they were doing in the first. That PI was incredible. I've never heard an announced penalty get picked up before.

Detroit's decision not to go for it and the subsequent shit punt reminded of our 4th and 26 game against Philly. Playing not to lose and guess what happens. That being said the cheap holding calls on Detroit neglecting the Offensive Holds was criminal.

Glad I'm not a Detroit fan as this shit just is so them.

If Detroit gets the DPI, then the unsportsman like conduct penalty gets tacked on too right?
