Win or Lose, this game holds far less importance than Week 17's game for the Packers and their playoff hopes. Especially the #2 seed. The Packers can lose Sunday and still get the #2 seed. Does anyone really want that though? The Packers are quite healthy and a Wild Card game would at say Atlanta would be a good tune up game for the big boys.

What makes me curious is the different playoff clinching scenarios they have out there in the www.

NFL has GB win + DAL loss or tie
CBS has GB win + DAL win or tie

The NFL scenario makes far more sense to me as I don't see a DAL win making any difference. They don't clinch the East with a win, but maybe I'm missing something. Just want to know who to root for on Sunday.

I don't care for the ESPN playoff predictors or hypothetical scenarios. Correct me if I'm wrong, the Packers win the next 2 and not only are they in, but they're at worst the #2. That's all they can control and thus all I really care about.

Speaking of which... using ESPN playoff predictor... your hypothetical scenario is correct that if the Packers beat the Bucs and Lions, they'll finish with the #2 NFC seed (unless the Cards lose to the Seahawks and the Seahawks, lose to the Rams, then it'd be #1 NFC seed).

Rodgers is winless at Tampa...he threw 3 picks in both games. Tampa wasn't very good either year we lost down there.

The last time we played there Tampa was 0-7 and beat us by 10... they finished 3-13. So,, I'm more than a little concerned about the outcome at Raymond James.

With so much riding on this game, it is hard to imagine them laying another egg. Teams have bad games, but most good teams rarely do it twice in a row.

uffda--so what on the previous TB games? They were different games under different circumstances.

I'm expecting that the team will show up after last week's loss to the Bills, with a bye and homefield in the playoffs on the line.

If they don't, against a 2-12 Bucs team, it will say a lot about them and I might have to join uffda's side.

God forbid. That would be miserable... [puke]

Great. Now I'm picturing uffda as the emperor from Star Wars...
