A roundup of what's happening on the Green Bay Packers beat:
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — A unit that spent last week trying to explain its second-half collapse against the Atlanta Falcons has nothing to apologize for this week, yet the Packers' defense was not reveling in its bounce-back performance against the Buffalo Bills.
Still, it was one of the few positive trends to take away from Sunday's 21-13 loss at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
Other than a blown coverage that left Bills running back Bryce Brown wide open for a 40-yard completion that led to a field goal in the third quarter, there wasn't much to nitpick about with the Packers' defense, except perhaps for the fact that they did it against a Kyle Orton-led offense that came into the game ranked 22nd overall and 27th in passing yards.
