This is how you don’t cover Jones. That’s him in the slot, with nothing but wide open space in front of him.

House was in better position than Shields was, but the key here was that he looked back at the ball. Without that, this easily could have been a complete pass. This was a terrific play by House.
They gave Jones different looks and made adjustments at the half. There were a couple miscommunications, but more often than not, their torching had less to do with the playcalling and more to do with some poor defensive play.
