I was pleased with Barrington's performance. And I hope he keeps improving providing Dom more flexibility in what he does no defense. But I for one need to see that type of performance consistently for a few weeks before I determine if he is capable of replacing Hawk in the middle. We have seen players come in and make plays for a short span.
Of he plays he broke down, the first run. The reason Barrington was able to make the stop, was because Peppers had a great move towards the center of the field making it so the RT could not peel off to get a hat on Barrington. Resulting in Barrington being unblocked in the hole.
The third play, Barrington gets sucked up on the play action, and manages to get in the way of the throw, but that also is because Brady was under pressure and had to get rid of the ball quick and while being hit. If the pressure had not been their, the zone Barrington was supposed to cover was open for the two receiving options crossing high and low.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!
