Packers' offense will look at red-zone offense

Regardless of whether it was because his offense was facing one of the top defensive minds in NFL history, Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy plans to focus on red-zone play this week.

You may be right about throwing it short of the end zone and seeing what the receivers can do. Put 3 guys into the endzone and drop Lacy or Starks out of the backfield and dump it off. Let the defense have to make a tackle instead of having to knock the ball away.

Either way I'm not too worried about it. I've seen them go into a red zone funk on occasion before. It happens to all teams now and then. I just don't think a team with this offensive talent will let the problem linger.

I am commenting on it because Mike is putting an emphasis on the issue. Certainly every one realizes that NE has a good defense especially in the red zone. (or at least they should.)

If they would have converted one or two times no one even Mike would be talking about it. The one time Aaron did throw a little short was the time Adams dropped it.
