Fines getting out of hand

Is anyone else getting really sick of Godell? He is fining people for good football plays, if people aren't using the right headphones and lastly for not giving enough info during an interview.

Lynch got a $100,000 fine for not talking with the media 2 weeks ago and now this week he does interviews and he is getting fined again for not giving good enough answers. But his teammates are standing up for him. Here is a video of Lynchs post game interview then Shermans.

I think the collective NFL needs a reality check.. from fines to flags to offensive loaded rule books.. much of it is out of hand.

Players complaining about NFL endorsements when they get 45% of that share is laughable.. so for the 5 minute walk into the stadium or in the locker room you are forced to wear a free pair of Bose headphones in place of DreBeats? If that truly is your biggest bitch.. you need a reality check my friend.

To be honest.. I have pretty much checked out of NFL ball.. I watch the Packers and that is about it. Mostly due to the rule slant basically removing anything remotely looking like a football game.. and the outright greed. But the second part is not an NFL exclusive deal..

Why does everybody blame Goodell? He doesn't make the rules, his job is to apply the rules to all teams and players. Players are required by rules their union agreed to. Endorsement deals is why players like Lynch get such outrageous contracts. Players are not required to wear sponsor equipment, they just cannot display logos of other brands. If they want to wear some other pair of headphones, just have the logo covered same as Rodgers needed to do when he switched to a non Riddell helmet.

I remember old days of Nascar, in the winner circle if they put a Bud sponsor sign on his car he would remove it because of his car sponsorship. There was bonus money available to the drivers for doing specific things on camera after the race like drinking from a Coke, and some drivers would refuse the bonus money out of respect of their sponsors.

The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!
