I have been wanting to go to Soldier Field for a game. Over the years many people have told me not to wear a Packers jersey as Bears fans will be rude at best

Back in 1974 I was at a Milwaukee Bucks vs. Chicago Bulls game in Milwaukee. The Bucks won by 30. There were Bulls fans behind us, and were obnoxious all game. We ignored them. As we were getting ready to leave, one of the jerks slapped one of the girls in our group across the face. WRONG MOVE! One of our guys punched him and sent him over the seats about 4 rows. Had he flown any farther, he would have gone over the wall to a 15 foot drop.

Just to reiterate that there are lousy Packer fans too, I pulled this out of a Lombardi Ave story.

With that being said there are a few things I do want to mention. Sadly, it came to my attention that some Packers fans were not the most graceful in victory this past Sunday. Now, I was not present during either incident but one of my guests on my travel bus, who was a Patriots fan told me how as he was leaving the game, he got punched in the face. I had another guest (a Packers fan) tell me about how the Packers fans behind him during the game were loudly profane.

Hey, Packers Nation! As we roll into the last few home games and whatever playoff games may grace us, remember to keep it classy. All eyes will be on us and let’s show the rest of the world what class and style is all about.

We are better than fighting and swearing.
