It the Packers can

1) Stop the run
2) Stop the TE

The Packers defense can stop the Titans Offense in there tracks.

If the Packers OL can hold up against that very good DL than Rodgers could throw a few TDs.

The question is, can we stop the run? Or another question - can they stop our O? We're going to score points. They may be playing catch up with us this upcoming week.

I think one of the biggest factors will be if we can pressure collins. I was looking at some stats and amazingly, they have only allowed 2 sacks from their opponents. I know sacks are not the only thing that has to do with pressuring the qb but i was just throwing that out there. So if we can pressure him, and take their passing game out, they will have to focus more on the run. Which then our defense can commit more to the run. And i have a question. How come last game Chillar started over Poppinga? Is Chillar better at stopping the pass or something alone those lines?

Chillar = big SS playing OLB in my book

Poppinga = small DE that's alright covering but not great playing OLB in my book.

If the Packers are focusing on stopping the TE then Chillar gets the start.

If the Packers are focusing on stopping the run then Poppinga gets the start.

Titans haven't played anybody yet. They've played Jacksonville, Cincinnati, Houston, Minnesota, Baltimore and KC. Not exactly the NFL elite.

I believe our defense will match up much better against the Titans than the Colts. I think we can crowd the box AND handle their WR's man to man which is where the Colts failed. The Colts had the right idea but not the right personnel to get the coverage they needed.

That being said the Colts missed a couple of opportunities for INT's that could have made a difference and would have at least offset some of Mannings miscues.

It's good for us that the Titans won this game against their arch rival and that they have the big lead in that division. Time for the Titans to fall. After a huge win and finally getting over the hump with the Colts on a short week it will be really tough to have that same intensity they showed last night.

When healthy the Packers have a better team than the Colts did yesterday.

Yeah the Colts may have a better QB, DRE and a good WR group

but the Packers have Rodgers with almost everyone healthy on the team for the first time. Rodgers and Woodson are still injured but playing great.

Hunter and are the only two I haven't heard about being ready for a game. Well there is also Harrell who is still tring to get in football shape and Harris getting back into shape of where he was before the injury, but sounds like Harris is going to play at least as a back-up role.

Everyone else has been said that they should be ready to go. there are some questions on Jones still but he said there was no pain for the first time so that's a great sign.

The line is Titans by 5 and a half. It's a little less than I thought it would be. Heck, I'm gonna go get my karma/Joss crap I posted on another forum and resurrect it here... with all that b.s. I threw out for that Colts game, some of it is bound to rub off to the tune of 6 points... I'm just sayin'... we DID win...

_____________________________________________________

OK- I found it, and adjusted accordingly- Forgive me, Lord, for my b.s. tendencies, but I need a win here... we'll discuss it when I head north and pass the St. Peter interview.

My initial plan for calling upon the coaching and playing talent of the Green Bay Packers to secure an easy playoff berth has thus far fallen short of my admittedly lofty goals. In order to help secure a more desirable outcome, I have decided to go to a plan B, utilizing alternative methodologies beginning this week against the number one rated Tennessee Titans. I promise to place in my signature a promise not to complain for one whole day in the event of a win Sunday, plus after careful analysis of both teams positives and negatives regarding the aforementioned talent, I feel it necessary and do hereby employ a couple of force multipliers
I hereby reaffirm my earlier stated promise not to complain, call upon all that is good and holy to see my Green Bay Packers through this gauntlet of opponent talent, and declare LP Field an official Packer Joss House for Sunday, November 2, 2008.

Karma (Sanskrit: krma (helpinfo), krman- "act, action, performance"[1]; Pali: kamma) is the concept of "action" or "deed" in Indian religions understood as that which causes the entire cycle of cause and effect ,originating in ancient India and treated in Hindu, Jain, Sikh and Buddhist philosophies. The philosophical explanation of karma can differ slightly between traditions, but the general concept is basically the same. Through the law of karma, the effects of all deeds actively create past, present, and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life, and the pain and joy it brings to him/her and others. The results or 'fruits' of actions are called karma-phala. In religions that incorporate reincarnation, karma extends through one's present life and all past and future lives as well.

Joss house or Miu (Chinese: ) is a place for worshiping a variety of indigenous Chinese deities, saints and supernatural beings from Taoist, Buddhism, Confucianism, heroes and folklores. Joss house is usually translated as temple, although it was in common use in English in western North America during frontier times, when joss houses were a common feature of places with Chinatowns. Joss houses are distinct from Taoist temples and Buddhist monasteries in that they are established by nearby villagers or fishermen to pray for good luck; only few or none of monks, nuns or priests study religion or stay in joss houses. Joss houses are usually small houses decorated with traditional figures on their roofs although some evolve into significant structures. The name "joss house" describes the environment of worship. Joss sticks, a kind of incense, are burned inside and outside of the house.

I am stuck in Pennsylvania, so if someone that is attending Sundays game could kindly bring a joss stick to the game on my behalf, it would be much appreciated.

Hey, don't laugh.. like I said, it worked last time. :thumbright: :thumbleft:

Yinin' and yangin' our butts to victory since October, 2008, baby.
