I, too, am excited and have been excited watching play action freeze defenders. I enjoyed seeing several deep shots last night. We should be chucking them long occasionally. Hopefully, Janis will become a part of what we do so we can see him fly and make plays.

Still, I wonder about this team vs. the better teams in the league. It's great they put 80 on the Bears and Vikings but those aren't the teams you need to do it against to get anywhere meaningful.

After reading some of "Ask Vic" today, you'd think fans thought we already won the Super Bowl. It's good to see people on here have a little more measured perspective. We beat the snot out of a team that many of us assumed we would beat the snot out of, and there's nothing the Packers need to apologize for with that, but we also shouldn't read too much into that yet.

With extra time before the next game, the Packers will have some time to heal up . The Coaches will gain extra time to study the Dolphins. The O/D-lines will be able to get more practice time together. The passing game will have more time to get the timing patterns and standard patterns better. The Packers will take momentum from the Vikings victory and move on to Miami, a 2 - 2 team with victory's over less than impressive teams.
