At home, against a rookie QB or Ponder, Primetime, everything should say big win. My concern is playing down to the competition and our inability to stop the run. I still say we win, but will probably not cover the spread.

I just wonder which Packer offense will show up this week.
And I'd say if Lacy can't get it going this week, pull him and give Starks a shot at it.

Although I see a Packers win, there are some things that make me think this game will be closer than it should be.

Biggest and most obvious is the lack of run D - Minnesota does most of their damage on the ground. After seeing Forte make our guys up front look like clowns, I see no reason to think the Queens couldn't do similar.

On the bright side of our D - if the secondary can take advantage of a young QB (or Ponder) - there is the potential for turnovers. The only issue here is forcing them to throw, with the way our run D is, they may not have to often.

For our offense I see Rodgers torching their secondary. With them being forced to play the pass - the rushing game should pick up speed.

Prediction -
Rodgers throws for 3 TDs, Lacy runs one in. We cough the ball up once on a fluke play. Defense gets 2 interceptions and forces a fumble. Vikes torch us on the ground for 150 yards.

1) The visiting Vikings will be wearing white, so purple exposure will be lessened.
2) No AP showing off.
3) Their QB will be "Pondering" when he drops back to pass.
4) Don't hate them, pity them, their from Minnesota after all.
5) Wisconsin makes the beer that they gladly drink.
6) Wisconsin makes the cheese that they gladly eat .
7) Green Bay is the team they have always wanted to be.

RAIN !!

They will be wearing the long cleats tonite and chewing up the field.
The footing will only get worse as the game progresses. It's going to get slippery and sloppy. Lacy may have a career nite. [thumbup]
