The NFL messed this one up bad. They keep talking about whether they got the video or not but to me that's irrelevant. It says in the police report that Ray Rice rendered her unconscious by striking her with his hand. Nothing I saw in the video paints a different picture for me than the one I get from reading that report. If they wanted to change his suspension they should have just waited for the new domestic violence policy they made with the union to go through and changed it to the 6 games that everyone else is going to get. Suspending him indefinitely is just as stupid as only giving him 2 games to start with.

As for Greg Hardy there's no definitive report or video to show what happened. You have to wait for the legal process otherwise you are suspending a guy based on nothing but the word of a woman who was admittedly high on cocaine.
