When bad turned to worse, there weren’t answers inside the Packers’ locker room. Aaron Rodgers was out, and the defense did not deliver. Running backs took turns shredding the front seven. So here’s Mike Daniels, putting his foot down.

the change in attitude across the board can only help.

Daniels has fully assumed a leadership role on this team, and it will be interesting to see if both his own play improves, as well as those around him. While Daniels was good last season, it would be something to see him become a truly great, unstoppable force on our DL.

Our greatest test will be that first game in Seattle. Winning there, and shutting SEA down would be one hell of a statement.

Mike Daniels has been getting me fired up for Packers football. It looks like the defense has filled the leadership void with a player that everyone thought would be riding the bench and was "too small" when he was drafted by the Packers.

Daniels has surely proven his worth so far to this team, performing when the other 10 guys aren't and being a consistent player. If he continues to play and has this mean streak and a guy like Jones fills the role he is supposed to fill, the Packers defense can be pretty nasty this season.

Hoping the rest of the defense follows in Daniels footsteps.
