Favre owed us nothing, and we owed him nothing. He OPTED for the Vikings, for PERSONAL CHILDISH reasons, imo.

You throw in the familiarity he had with his FORMER QB COACH, and the possibility of showing the Packers twice a year he still has something ... that was his reasoning. It was not 100% to get back at the Packers. Again, the Vikings were the best team that needed just a QB.

I very much dislike that he played with the Vikings, but at that time, with their roster, I can understand that choice.

Packers were an INT away from the SB the previous year.

If he really wanted another SB shot, he should have remained committed to the team he was already on.
