Just a personal curiosity... how many of you think the fact that Lyerla ranted on Twitter that Sandy Hook was a hoax is a reason to be concerned about him?

Personally, I don't see the issue with that at all... That's his opinion... I realize the deeply sensitive nature of what happened there but if he thinks it didn't really happen, I don't know why that should be held against him like it's some unforgivable sin.

This, to me, is a free speech issues - right up until it isn't. That, for the Packers is whether or not this could become a divisive thing for the team. I'm sure he's not the only Packer to be open about political or social views. He may be the only one to spread it around on Twitter, though.

It will make things interesting a lot of places including this and other forums if the Packers have an outspoken political person on the team.
