That's true. The coaches had the players in position to win that game, even though the talent discrepancy was substantially in favor of the 49'ers. The coaches can't make Hyde catch that ball there. A game against a tough team like the 49'ers is always going to be tough. In order to win, plays like that have to be made.

Jolly would help shut down Gore. Hayward generates turnovers because he is more athletic than Hyde. Matthews is faster than Mulumba. Shields is better in coverage.
