You guys really bashed this shit all night? Woah!

No thanks. I'm done. Will gladly wait to see who has a better season year 1.

As for the Monday after, looking at this draft as a whole, we got some real players. A bunch of surprise picks. A few steals. Some good value. A lot of controversy regarding where some players were picked. A lot of uncertainty, yet a good measure of selections that bring confidence.

Personally, after having a chance to research these players, I have to say that I'm pretty happy. Far more so than the day of. We will be a much improved team this year.

I never really liked the James Jones comparison that much because JJ is just pure strength and doesn't have nearly the all around athleticism of Adams. My best comparison is Michael Crabtree.

Crabtree never ran the 40 yard dash at a combine or a pro day. I don't think he's ever had an officially timed 40 in his career. Either way Adams ran a 4.47 on one of his runs at his pro day.

Supposedly, Crabtree ran 4.54 right in line with Adams 4.56 at combine. Crabtree was allegedly quoted as saying he ran 4.5 walter Football says 4.48. I'll go with his mid time of 4.54 on NFLdraftscout.com

One thing is for sure, he ain't like Crabtree when it comes to demeanor and personality. I wonder if Richard Sherman will say after Week 1 that Adams is a sorry WR?

You're late to the party, Z! If anything, I'm about as down on Davante as anyone. I just loved Sherman's rant on Crabtree and tied it into Adams since they're being compared.

■Dan Lyons, yardbarker.com: Grade: A-minus. "General manager Ted Thompsonwas able to stick with his tried-and-true strategy of taking the best player available and still fill a number of major needs."

■Doug Farrar, SI.com: Grade: A: "Few teams addressed obvious needs as aggressively and intelligently in this draft as the Packers, starting with first-round safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix."

■ Yahoo! Sports: "The Packers added athleticism, physicality and intensity each day of the draft, making it one of the NFL's clear winners in this year's draft."

■Peter Prisco, cbssportsline.com: Grade B. Best Pick: "I like the pick of receiver Davante Adams in the second round." Prisco wondered why GB waited until the fifth round to pick an offensive lineman. "Are they that good up front?"

■ Foxsports.com: Grade: A. "Ted Thompson nailed this draft."

■Mel Kiper, ESPN: Grade B-minus for need, B-plus for value. "Another solid draft. ... There's not a point where you feel like the Packers flat out got a steal, but aside from the question at ILB, there's not much not to like."

■Todd McShay of ESPN picked a team in each NFL division that he thinks "will get the most impact from their rookie classes in the 2014 season." McShay picked the Packers for the NFC North. "The Packers came away with several potential early contributors."

■ sbnation.com: Grade A. "This has the makings of another great class for Ted Thompson and the Green Bay Packers."
