This reminds me of something I'm hoping to try to do before draft day.
I'm going to go to first-pick as if I were an expansion team substituting for Houston's draft position at the top of every round. Then, by trading down as much as I need/can, see what kind of 60-man roster (53 plus 7 practice squad) I can come up with in a single draft.
My guess is that this is going to take about an hour all-told. Anyone else interested in trying this experiment or seeing what I come up with if I find an hour between now and then?

My strategy was simple. I'm a line guy, so first priority -- get top six OL. Second, get the DL starters. Skill positions last.
Planned to go 4-3 on defense, but 3-4 players fell and 4-3 players didn't, plus OL went a lot faster than expected, so changed targets mid-second.
Wide receivers: mostly wanted good route runners, plus speed in late rounds.
Running backs: wanted good receivers first (primary targets were Sims and Neal, got both), then speed option.
Quarterback: wanted space fillers until year three, plus possible developmental.
Knew risk was going to be back 7 on defense, and proved to be so. Wanted both E J Gaines and Ahmad Davis, got neither. But am happy with the two lines. Also picked up an extra 1st rounder in 2015.
