I alluded to this earlier, but I guess I need to spell it out. Carbon 14 has a half life of 5,730 years - meaning it is only accurate back that far. Potassium dating is notoriously unreliable even with scientists.
For the umpteenth time, the Bible does NOT say the earth or the universe are 6,000 years old. Genesis 1:1 could be 13.8 billion and accomplished by a big bang - no problem. Genesis 1:3 starts the 6,000 or so years, and that is scientifically supportable - nothing that science can measure or prove to counter it.
