But will probably not play until after the bye.

http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/ic/blogs/insider/index.shtml

* On Al Harris: Had a scan today, showed "signficant improvement." Will send results out for second opinions. Hard-pressed to go this week, but "I think after the bye is realistic."

Wouldn't that be a nice addition for Sunday.. albeit, as noted probably not going to happen. Regardless, that is excellent news.

3 very good CB's on the field is an absolute great thing.

Love to see him back, but not at the risk of his long-term health. He'd be a huge boost against Indy. I'd be surprised if he plays though. Give him that extra bye week to make sure he's healthy for the rest of the year.

Agreed... but just that news that he is getting close is enough to put a little relief into a fan.

Pickett's injury not season ending.. Hawk playing through.. Bigby getting close and Rouse looks minor...

Maybe just maybe the injury plaque with let up already. šŸ™‚

We've definitely been snakebit this year. Maybe it just feels this way, but it seems like injuries are up across the league. Brady, Manning, half the Seahawks.

Well, I have been going to church a lot lately, and I've been living clean for nearly a decade. It's about time some of my prayers start being answered.

This guy heals like Wolverine!

He should be able to work back slowly as the Titans aren't exactly a spread offense. I'd expect Tramon to start that game with Al back in full time the following week.

Wow, I would love to have Al back sooner rather than later--although it won't happen on Sunday. The good thing is that, as long as it is safe for him to play, the injury should not affect him much. It's not like a leg injury, for example, where his speed or ability to plant will be diminished. Probably he will wear some extra padding on his abdomen, but that's about it.

glad that al is healing well and will be back but think he should wait after the bye

dfosterf (27-Jul) : The white background beta was hard to read, especially the quotes
dfosterf (27-Jul) : Hopefully the color scheme remains the same

dfosterf (25-Jul) : It's my one day deal complaint dept. on shareholder meeting day
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Resulting in an actual drop of net revenue of 12.5%. She is from Minnesota. Just sayin'

Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : also, no bueno when a guy starts getting concussions right off the bat in his career
Zero2Cool (25-Jul) : Concussion is worse. Banks probably vet off day via back booboo claim
Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : @AndyHermanNFL Jordy Nelson out at camp today. No word if he’s in play for one of the two open roster spots ; )
