The playoffs are a LONG way off. What we need now is wins, so that IF our team finally comes together we are still in the running for a playoff spot at the end of the regular season.
It does us no good if we are on a roll at the end of the season, but out of the playoffs already.

His knee hasn't responded too well so far. I think it's unlikely to not have much progress over the first 3-5 days and then suddenly feel great. I would think Frye's starting.

The Seahawks may be down to their 3rd string QB on Sunday.


From PFT: The worse news is that Seneca Wallace missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, and returned to practice only on Friday. So that means (gulp) Charlie Frye might play.

'Hawks are already going to let Julius Jones and Co. loose upon the defense. I guess this means that they'll run it even more.

Last I heard, the Hawks were down two starting receivers, a RB (Morris), and one or two OL. If they're down to a 3rd string QB, this is a game we should win easily.

I think I'll still pick the Hawks to win. Our D can't stop the run so I have a bad feeling we will see some Dolphin type football this Sunday.

IronMan and others do make a good point about our defense, which is that we can't rely on it to stop anyone right now, regardless of who plays QB. But at this point, I'll take any little advantage we can get. I know that our team's injuries have made it harder to win games, so I've got to believe that the opposing team's injuries will help make up for that. I hate to see anyone get injured, but the Packers just need a W right now--anyway, anyhow, anywhere.
