Gregorious is on pace for 1820 receiving yards.

The Packers record is:
1,497 yards, Robert Brooks, 1995

All-time record:
1848 yards, Jerry Rice, 1995.

Then we need one more extra bomb to Gregorious a game. I'll get on the phone with MM right away. Breaking Rice's remaining big season record should be our utmost priority.

On a not so light note, I found the stat that explains why we're not winning games:

A relatively healthy offense has struggled to sustain drives. Green Bay has had possession of the football 58 times in the first five games, and its gone off the field quickly with 17 three-and-out series - a woeful percentage of 29.3.

We need to stop going 3 and out. That's killing our D.

Some observations:

Positives
1) 63.2% completion rate. Just think if he wasn't running for his life every four or five pass plays throwing into the sidelines.
2) 9 INT's
3) Greg Jennings. Through the roof.
4) 44 yards per punt. That surprises me. Seems like 34.

Negatives
1) 80 first downs. After 5 games that should be 100 (like our opponents)
2) Penalties and penalties for first downs given up. Pathetic.
3) KGB has three whole tackes. Two more than Scott Wells.
4) 9 sacks out of only 4 players and Jenkins (2) is now gone.

As I have pointed out in the past I feel our first down production is poor overall. We find ourselves way to often in 2nd and seven or eight and it has hurt the overall number of first downs as well as all of the offensive penalties. They just kill drives.

We have to find ways to get to the QB. My guess is they won't go past this week with KGB if he doesn't produce and go in another direction. He doesn't even move the QB over giving Kampman a better shot.

Things that stand out to me:

Ryan Grant - zero TDs and only 2 receptions for -4 yards

James Jones - longest catch is 9 yards

no one had missed a field goal against us

i don't want to sound like a favre lover, but i think we need to put rodgers in more situations to get rid of the ball quicker. he's had a problem holding onto the ball too long, not that this is HIS problem but based on how the line has played it's A problem. this is the same line as last year and i refuse to believe they have declined to the point of terrible. maybe they weren't that good last year and the experience of Favre allowed him to read d quicker and get rid of the ball. Pass protection wasn't that important last year with the quick drop - slants we ran last year. plus, i "think" (which i shouldn't do too much, trust me) we're WAYYYYYYYYY to safe with play calling. look at the last game, TD to Driver...amazing pass, amazing catch...ill advised throw. but, you gotta do it to win games....

Let's go Pack.

What sticks out?

1) Jennings is a beast!
2) Our running game is pathetic.
3) Very limited production from our TEs.
4) James Jones has been invisible.
5) We're committing too many penalties (and at all the wrong times).
6) We can't stop the run.
7) We can't get off the field by stopping teams on third down.
8 ) Our speedy, mobile QB is getting sacked way too often.

And you can't tell (directly) from the stats, but our playcalling has been very predictable on both sides of the ball. Pass, run, pass, punt. Pass, run, pass, punt.) Rush 4, drop 7. Rush 4 drop 7. Rush 4 drop 7. (repeat until score or turnover).

Rodgers does needs to be a little quicker and need to get better pocket awareness (but that comes with time) but as right now, other than Jennings, Rodgers had looked to be the best offensive player the Packers have.

TOTAL OFFENSIVE YARDS GB	1687 OPP 1816

We have a top 10 offense yet we have allowed the other team to run 129 (25.8 per game) more plays than us. 25 more plays a game that we have to defend.. ball control and lack of running game.

That there is a recipe for losing.

Which leads to stat #2.
