True BPF, about opinions as facts.
I like looking at things like this and speculating though, it's always interesting to see how our organisation spends it's money, on whom, and how injury/decline/cuts/bad personnel decisions hinder the ability to resign those players who are critical to the organisation.
Uncle Ted is the very best, I think he, Murphy et al know that we are good for 1, maybe 2 studs per draft that will need payment in years to come and therefore always ensures that
a) We are very prudent with free agents. One or two high priced duds and the domino effect can set you back for years.
b) We totally adhere to draft, develop and keep if good enough
I for one, absolutely agree with the philosophy, our depth is a testament to this - barring injury, there are very few positions where the Pack' are not deep.
QB - Nothing needs to be said
RB - Well and truly addressed
WR/TE - Plenty to go around, Boykin looks like a keeper
OL - Counting Bulaga, and we have a nucleus to really work with
DL - Well and truly addressed
LB - Perhaps needs one more body
CB'S - Young unit that is getting better and better
S's - Another young unit that is expected to mature
ST's - Masthay is so underrated, Crosby hot and cold, so so middle of the unit elsewhere
