Eddie Lacy's carries will be cut by Green Bay Packers

Eddie Lacy has carried the load out of the Green Bay Packers' backfield in recent weeks. However, Packers coaches would like to reduce his work going forward in anticipation of the playoffs.

Good, Starks has been proving useful and the pace Lacy has set for carries over the last 4 games would equal out to 388 carries in a 16 game season. No reason to put that much work on Lacy when we have other guys who can get it done too.

Yeah, PASS FIRST - let the pass set up the run, then let Lacy run as a change of pace and if we need to use clock late in the game.

Good to hear they're trying to keep an eye on this and make sure Lacy has something in the tank by the end of the year. If this team is gonna make a post season run, they're gonna need a 25 carry game or two from him then.

Need to have a running game in the playoffs, especially at Lambeau in the cold. The only team I know that abuses their starting running back with so many carries are the Vikings - who have squandered his career. Hopefully we don't do that to Lacy. Having 2 more competent backs to share the load is a good thing.
