Mason has attempted 19 field goals this season making 17 of them which comes out to 89.5%. He's kicked three from 50+ with making two of them.

I have always been a Crosby fan. That said he really stunk last year. Big time. He let it get into his head and he got even more messed up when he tried to correct his form.

There is no guarantee that he won't struggle this year. Look at how many kickers have moved from team to team. A change of venue helps. A new kicking coach will correct a flaw. Later than can develop a different flaw so out the door they go and land with a new team and yet another coach.

I agree with everything that was said so far - how often does THAT happen hahahaha? I do think the onside kick thing is a little bit overrated, although I suppose it is a factor.

The question when Crosby was doing so bad was alternatives. It was predictable that he would snap out of it; Unfortunately, it is also predictable that he could lapse back - for no apparent reason just like last time.
Ted Thompson and MM were right to be patient and stick with him because any alternatives were probably just as big question marks, and in some cases, with a lot less upside. In this case also, about all we can do is enjoy the ride and hope for the best.

speaking of onside kicks...don't think we have done a surprise onside kick yet this year. I think it's about that time.

On the original topic, it's good to see him return to form. He had done well at times. I too still cringe a little when he goes to kick, but my confidence is slowly restoring. He keeps this up for a couple years and I'll have my faith back.

Let's see him kick a game-winning field goal as time expires. I think we're all pleased with his performance so far, but he doesn't have a good track record in the clutch.

beast (30-May) : Yeah, and I enjoyed your comments and just attempted to add to it. Sorry if I did it incorrectly.
wpr (30-May) : Beast I never said Henderson was the salt of the earth. Nor even that he was correct. Just quoting the guy.

Zero2Cool (29-May) : Whoa
beast (29-May) : OMG the website is now all white, even some white on white text
beast (29-May) : Henderson, who admits to taking cocaine during the Super Bowl against the Steelers, might dislike Bradshaw as he lost two Superbowls to him

Martha Careful (28-May) : Bradshaw is a dumb ass cracker. I am so tired of his "aw shucks" diatribe. He should shrivel up and go away.

Zero2Cool (19-May) : he giving up his win business?
beast (19-May) : Speaking of Woodson, sounds like he'll be a minority owner (0.1%) of the Browns
