How could it be coaching if it's the same coaches they had last year teaching the same techniques and they go 13-3? I don't recall a team with more of the same and totally intact from the prior year like we have it.

Do you think maybe the coaches just FORGOT how to coach? I highly doubt it.

Gap control, get the problems fixed, same old tired rhetoric, same old tired results. Our defense gets run over again.
Obviously shit ain't getting fixed. So what's the problem?
The players are pretty much the same.
Could it have something to do with coaching?

Pretty much the same? Am I looking at a different team? Bigby, Harris, Jenkins are out and Williams is on another team. Hawk, Barnett, Collins, and Woodson have some intense injuries on the field also. I wouldn't call this anywhere near the players being pretty much the same. 3 completely different players which leads to different players replacing the players who have moved up. So on any given snap we have 4 backups on the field, Peprah, Williams, Blackmon, and Montgomery. Those guys aren't exactly Bigby, Harris, Williams at nickel, and Jenkins.

Granted 3 of them are defensive backs, but all are pretty essential in stopping the run as well. Bigby is a big run stopper, and Harris is one of the best corners in the league at coming to the line and making tackles. Williams lines up inside on most nickel packages instead of Blackmon and is a much better nickel on run and the pass than Blackmon. Jenkins stops the run and pass amazingly, and we're not getting him back this year, so he is a really big loss. Montgomery and KGB/Hunter won't give the same production that Jenkins would.

We should be called the walking wounded rather than the Green Bay Packers.

You're right...this isn't the same team as last year. Way too many key injuries are killing us. Unless we get a lot of guys back and healthy very quickly this will be a long season.

Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year

dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.

Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
