Driver says why he's not coming back to depleted Packers receiving corps

Lots of calls across Packers Planet rang out for Donald Driver to take his old job back at wide receiver, but Driver's a little busy with his new book, with a series of signings across Wisconsin and the U.S.

"I am getting ready to go to New York and release my book on Tuesday," admitted Driver on 620WTMJ's "Wisconsin's Afternoon News."

Does that make him a bad guy?

All I read for DD's last 2 years or so is "why is he still playing".

Now some are going to get angry because he has obviously moved on to life after football?

Don't understand the reason for the article at all.

I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

I didn't get that vibe at all from the article. I'm sure a lot of fans have been asking if Driver is an option to come back so the dude went straight to the source and got an answer. There was no negative context at all. No idea where you are coming from with this.

Medias job is to get viewers/hits/reads, nothing else. Media doesn't have to be true, false, sane, or crazy, it just has to generate viewership. Ultimately, it's all about dat ca$h. It's pretty sad, but it's reality and a lot of people are pretty successful by using that as their mantra.

DD is doing other things now, can't blame the guy for not coming back due to a couple of injuries. Let him enjoy his retirement, he has more than earned it.
