He's a career backup for the Mike Holmgren WCO. Should be able to be converted to the Mike McCarthy Run and Shoot somewhat smoothly.
I liked Pat Devlin, who was trained up on Philbin's offense in Miamia, but Seneca's probably the best veteran stopgap who could come in and play right away.
He also will have intel about the 9ers. And has practiced against them all summer.
