I just don't feel confidence with either Mason or Sergio. Apparently, neither does Ted. How did he find this guy?

I don't know why, but i'm excited about this kid... like I wasn't about the other kicker they brought in.

But it's risk and reward... we'll have to wait and see how he does.

and that mention about Frost - I agree; I cringed when they sent him on the field (even more so then when farve threw a hail mary).

A friend of mine was at the practice yesterday and said Ramirez BOOMS them, with zero run up. The guy can just stand there and blast a kick 60 yds. This could be very good.

YES. Said he was kicking nearly every ball out of Nitschke Field. Said he far out kicked both Crosby and Sergio. Said Sergio just didn't have the leg. Also that Ramirez was standing next to Masthay and was just booming them away as he placed them down, with no steps leading in.
