I'm liking Pease better than either of Starks or Green.

Yeah, good review steveishere. I was incredibly impressed by 5 players:

Micah Hyde
Johnny Jolly
Eddie Lacy
Jermichael Finley
David Bakhtiari

Every one of these players proved their worth as valuable starters, and effective players.

I was incredibly disappointed by the play of Moses. He looked as lost out there as House looked v. AZ. Wow, really poor tackling, pursuit, angles, coverage. He had a really bad night.

DJ Williams looks ineffective as both a blocker and as a receiver.

Other than that, the team performed pretty well. I thought some of the run blocking by EDS and the whole right side of our line was a little suspect.

Andy Mulumba looks like he has enormous potential. He makes plays. Imagine what he will look like a year or two from now with further development.

Jarrett Bush stays on this Packers team. Any questions about that had to be eliminated with his sound play last night.

Good to see the Packers respond, against what I considered to be a tougher opponent than last week.

IMO coleman did better then Harrell but I can see coleman's jitters (throwing too quickly and too fast); vince on the other hand throws too slow and telegraphs his throws too much.

Im liking that bosnick TE thou decent -

IMO WR is going to be the toughest to decide - gilent looked good and hines looked decent ...

Every season I think D.J. Williams is going to come into his own and rise up, but he just never seems to do so.

Micah Hyde....what a steal! Yeah, he got burnt on that deep ball, but adjusted nicely thereafter. I think he even had a tackle for a loss, or close to it...he can get up in there!

Lacy, what can you say. The thought of a running facet to this offense makes me just giddy, and hopefully Lacy will continue to be a big part of it. Anxious to see the Lacy-Harris combo.

The Barclay-Newhouse experiment should be over. The job is Barclay's imo.

Hyde is a future pro-bowl slot defender I think.

How did House bounce back from the Cardinals game? I haven't seen a lot of chatter about DB depth, I feel like we have a lot of promising guys that are at very similar levels of development and talent.

Who knew on draft day what a talented and poised player Micah Hyde would turn out to be? Granted, we are two games into the preseason, but the game just does not look to big for him. He even made a really nice punt return, solid and confident.

I'll add Chris Banjo at Safety as another promising DB. steveishere was raving about his play in the AZ game, and I didn't even know we had a Banjo... I looked more closely at that game and he was right. Banjo followed that up with another solid performance v. STL. He's not tall, at all, but he's solid and plays solid at S. He might stick. I kind of like his play better than MD Jennings. McMillian had a stinker v. AZ, then followed up with a more stout performance v. STL.

We've got another UDFA in Brandon Smith who has all the measurables you want in a corner, but he is really looking raw and did not play well v. STL. Maybe he makes the PS.

All in all, that secondary is starting to look really solid.

It was good to see House come back, hopefully he keeps getting healthier and improving. Banjo is fun to watch, gives 100%, !00% of the the time it seems and he flies around. Was looking for a big jump from McMillian this year, maybe it's still coming. If Smith can develop what a bonus that would be, great measurable, good PS candidate. Barclay seems to be stepping up, let's keep it going. Bakhtiati is a real blessing, I'm just paranoid about when the real bullets start flying. I think the offense has looked really, really good when you consider neither our 1 and 2 receivers have not even played. Looking forward to see how players look in the Seattle game. Third game teams usually want to be getting things together pretty much. That should be a pretty stiff test yet.
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Now that's a thought, maybe they're looking at the college ranks? Maybe not head coaches but DC/assistant DCs with league experience?
beast (30-Jan) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
beast (30-Jan) : I wonder what's taking so long with hiring a DL coach, 2 of the 3 known to interview have already been hired elsewhere.
Zero2Cool (27-Jan) : Packers coach Matt LaFleur hires Luke Getsy as senior assistant, extends Rich Bisaccia's deal
Zero2Cool (27-Jan) : Chiefs again huh? I guess another Super Bowl I'll be finding something else to do.

Martha Careful (25-Jan) : some of those people are smarter than you zero. However Pete Carroll is not
Mucky Tundra (24-Jan) : Rude!
beast (24-Jan) : Martha? 😋
Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.
beast (24-Jan) : Either the Cowboys have no idea what they're doing, or they're targeting their former OC, currently the Eagles OC
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (23-Jan) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
