Hopefully not for the season but even if he has to leave the game a few times this year. MM will be less likely to put Flynn in there when Rodgers is hurting though he needs to sit because of the pain. Following Favre, you can bet that Rodgers will play with whatever pain he has to in order to show he is tough. I dont want to have Rodgers leave in a tie game in the 3rd quarter and get blown out because we have a rookie who is lost out there.

Let these rookies sit for a couple of years like Rodgers did. Have the balls to cut or trade Brohm if in fact Flynn is better. I just dont get the logic of having 2 rookie backup quarterbacks when you have a 1st year starter. Are we grooming rookies to replace Rodgers? Or are our backups in place to help us win a game or two(vet) if we need him to and (ONE) young guy to keep on the roster as an emergency qb who we are also trying to see if he can develop into a really good qb to replace the starter in case he doesnt pan out. Sorry for the run on sentence. Am I totally off base or what?

I agree with you completely. I can't remember a contending team ever going with a first year starter and rookie backups. That's typically something you see from a team rebuilding. In that regard, I don't think t.t. has positioned us well for the possibility of losing Rodgers to injury.

This is very, very bad. He was off to a good start, and he will be a difficult player to replace. KGB and Jeremy Thompson are both undersized and soft against the run, and KGB has been playing poorly anyway.
