He understood nothing between the F-bombs. All Jerron McMillian saw was left guard Josh Sitton shouting and pointing a finger toward his group — the defensive backs — so it was on.
From the sideline, in so many words, the 203-pound safety all but challenged the 318-pound guard to fight.

"I don't back down from anybody," McMillian said. "Regardless of who you are, I'm here. Defense vs. offense, I'm going to make sure my defense is good at the end of the day."

McMillian hasn't shut up since.

On one overthrown pass out of the end zone to tight end Jake Stoneburner — a completely benign, nondescript play — McMillian screams, "Come on man! (Expletive) too easy!" Minutes later, he picks off a pass in 7-on-7 and leaps into a teammate's chest. During a blitz period, he blasts into running backs with brutal blunt force. In coverage, he yells at a tight end finishing his route.

I am not real big on trash talking but if players are not giving their all I don't mind another player calling them on it.

All for it as long it doesn't cross the line. Taunting is a crappy call to get in game. Knowing that line is critical. I love what it says about his confidence in making plays though.

we need some attitude on "D". Just wonderin where this attitude was during that game when kaepernick was running all over us.

could.t Dom somehow use Jerron as a spy?

Looking forward to that first game of 2013 and see how the defense handles the 49ers who are picked as the best team in the NFC.

If GB whips the niners in the first game does that make them the best team in the NFC?

Of course they're doing the dime package mainly only against the spread offenses.

I think McMillian is also the back-up at nickel hybird slot position.

I've heard some suggest maybe Perry as a spy LB with with Matthews and Neal/Moses at OLB. Perry is pretty fast for a LB.

Capers says they must be able to stop the run because getting to these packages, but if these packages can stop the pass and force them to run, and make them 1 dimensional that way, I say it's worth a try.

I think it's going to be hard to keep all the talented DL... but Pickett, Raji and Jolly would be a lot of beef to move... through Raji seem to going backwards way to fast against the 49ers, they can rotate Raji and Danials. Danials, like Jolly has the attitude of not willing to take it and will keep fighting back...
