Green Bay --- There is no front-runner, no favorite. Next to Morgan Burnett at safety, the Packers will conduct a wide-open competition.

I think it is going to be McMillian. Seems to have a really great skill set, and some real poise. I thought his rookie year was solid, and he did show himself to be a rookie with a few mistakes. I just feel he will play a better game than Jennings.

Really intrigued by Richardson, and would love to see him force his way into winning the starting position opposite Burnett. He's got the size, and experience playing with Hayward at Vandy. Will be very interesting to see if he will put himself in contention.

Really good question. May still be a question after training camp. Here is to one of the competitors stepping up and commanding that spot.

Neither has shown me enough to tap either of them as a starter.

Tough knowing MM, he may keep Jennings because of "experience" regardless of how good/bad he is. (Erik Walden anyone?)

I'm rooting for McMillian. I enjoyed him last season and with a year of work under his belt should help out.

McMillian will take that next step in his development.

McMillian would definitely fit better into "getting more physical" as McCarthy said he wanted. The best thing for the safeties though would be for the pass rush to improve.

Yeah, McMillian, but Jennings ain't bad either. Both will get reps, and both will do good.
