When they don't, he goes to International Harvester, but gives plans to all Fords new cars to GM and Chrysler.

Then he fake retires to get out of the non compete clause again to go to GM.

Second since when are there no compete clauses in NFL contracts? Once a player is no longer under contract with one team he is free to go where he wants except in the case of a trade obviously. For the record car designers leave companies and go to work for the competition all the time. Noted car designer Carroll Shelby went from Ford to Chrysler and then back to Ford. Sometimes there are non compete clauses sometimes not
