This new kid on the block, won't make it past the second pre-season game. Unless Mason Crosby really messes up.

Don't remember him costing us a game last year or winning us one either so if he stays or not doesn't really makes a difference.

It's an old thread from a couple years ago that was recently recovered from the wastelands, Crosby is basically a lock to start. I remember at the time being on the fence whether i wanted Crosby to stay or go so I can't fault anyone's opinion either way. These old threads are fun to read though to try and find comparisons to players today. Who else has been struggling that might be ready for a comeback year?

I was bringing it up for the "old heads" amongst us. I dragged it up from obscurity because of my doc visit, plus how so many of us stood behind the stones of Mike McCarthy when he stood behind Mason. There is another thread in here where we did precisely that. It could easily be described as Mike's finest hour. I had the great gift of showing my doctor what we wrote when Mason was missing field goals. You can bet your ass Mason will see those posts. We did true fandom proud, boys and girls. I love Mason Crosby (unless he goes into another funk again, lol)

Major props to Kev Zero 2 cool that even an old fart like me can find my shit in his archives, with ease.
