It's gonna be nagging injuries that are gonna hamper him. And they're probly gonna hesitate to give him painkillers. lol

Be great if we could get some good play out of him though.

Nothing but love for the Jollyman. Hope he makes it all the way back into the starting lineup. I always thought he was one of the reasons we decided to go to the 3-4.

Two excellent points above...(aside from Favre being a doper)

1. The long layoff and comeback would be unprecedented. True, though in most cases where a guy is gone from a drug isue he doesn't reciver and he only gets worse. Taking both Jolly and the Judge at their words, this may not be the case (gods willing). In the comprison to Brown, his issue was more that he was out of shape. Lets face it the man had the triple whopper named after him. In Jolly's case he has apparently been working out a lot (I base this on the number of tweets he's sent on the subject). I also think that even if he makes the roster, he be rotated in with Pickett and Jones and Raji, not expected to start or play 30 snaps. I think that will make the transition easier which also reference point 2.

2. The nagging injuries. No matter how much he works out, it's not football, and undoubtedly some of his muscles/tendons etc. will need to adjust as he actually gets on the field. My hope (again I am an optimist about him) is that the limited snaps he'll get as part of the D-Line rotation will keep him from getting too physically stressed until he's fully up to football shape a little into the season, where injuries or ineffectiveness might get him called upon more.

If they are talking about putting Neal at one DE in the nickel and Jones at one DT, I can see them using Jolly as either the other DT or even the other end, giving Raji some rest and bulking them up against the run in those situations, but I would guess 20 snaps a game is probably his play time.

I honestly don't know. When I spent a couple years living in Sheboygan, there were enough awesome brats from Miesfields I think I only went to burger king once for lunch. Maybe I am nuts but if I won the lotto and could retire to anywhere I wanted, I'd build me a house in Sheboygan in a heartbeat. Miesfields, the Briscoe County Wood Grill, the riverfront, nice people all over, diverse community and close enough to Door County. Milwaukee, GB and the Dells you'd never need to go more than an hour or so from home.
