When I think about the defense and the possibilities of this being an outstanding unit I get pretty fired up.
There are five first round picks out there in Raji, Pickett, Jones, Mathews, and, Perry. Four second rounders in Hayward, Burnett, Neal, and, House. Two of our best defensive guys not even in either group being Bishop and Shields. Aside from whatever round they came out of these guys can play.
Getting Bishop and Perry back and adding Jones bolsters the positions where the quality and consistency just wasn't there last year.
So the answer is there. These guys just have to hear the bell. But it's not like asking guys that don't have the ability to do this. So for me it's not what one or two guys can do but anticipating what all 11 on the field will accomplish.
