You all don't care, but I do, and am very much interested in this type of stuff.. But the Vikings will be getting a new uniform design this year. Not throwback but an every-game uni. They are releasing hints/clues weekly until the full uniform reveal which will happen during their draft party on April 25th. So far, here are the hints:

If I had my way, the only things I would change about the uniform in the picture I posted above is having an 'over-the-shoulder' stripe (think LSU or UCLA) and have the pant stripes be thicker and go all the way down.

When they come out they come out. All the hype they are going thru is simple to sell more jerseys.
This works. It is not too busy. It doesn't have 70 colors. White with purple trim at home and purple with white trim on the road. If they want to use a little yellow to highlight fine but teams like to gt the third color too heavy. Makes every thing look cheap or like some little league team.

I hope they stick with white pants. Those purple ones were hideous.

stripes and numbers on the shoulders don't work.

The hints were a waste of time and dumb. Basically, they are just opinions of what others think. Of course the Vikings are going to like them. They have nothing else to be happy about. OH wait, they got Greg Jennings, my bad!

NOTE: My guess is the number font will be the same as the date that was posted on the Viktor video as I haven't seen the Vikings use that font in any of their other graphics.

That said, despite dozens of dozens of fan-made uniforms, this is the closest I feel the Vikings are going with their new threads. The only difference I think they'll go is going with a matte helmet instead of shiny/glossy finish (or maybe a matte/glossy dual-tone).

There's plenty of Viking fans who are not interested in uniform designs. I'm a uni-head, though (Uni-Watch blog is one of my daily page visits), so when it's any of MY teams getting new threads, I get jazzed up.

I can say this.. at least they are ditching the quilt type design that looked like they didn't have enough fabric in the design room..

For me.. it will be interesting to see what the Nike impact overall will be. a year to develop so to speak.
