Free agent receiver Greg Jennings may be leaving Green Bay but staying in the NFC North. Jennings is visiting the Vikings today, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. The Vikings have been widely reported to be interested in Jennings, especially after they traded away Percy Harvin and needed to pick up a playmaker in their passing game.

Just saw this on twitter, I doubt he will sign with Minnesota. I think his using them for contract negotiations with the Packers.

Two things GJ didn't realize before going into free agency.

1- His value
2- Packers need

Explanation:

1- He overrated his value and is shocked now on how teams are not sending him lucrative 5/6 years deals with loaded contracts.
2- Didn't realize that signing a WR for the packers is not a must have position, as it's fully loaded & how the Packers see it is that if he comes back even better if not we've got other to replace.
Glad To Be A Packers Fan.

The Packer wide receiver thing has been a "who made who" situation for a very long time now. The only truly legitimate #1 receivers we've had for the last twenty years were Sterling Sharpe and Javon Walker. The rest of them have been talented players that have inflated stats they would never have obtained playing in another system. I think the rest of the GMs in the league know this as well. I still laugh when I think about Billy Schroeder getting big coin from the Lions and Corey Bradford in Houston.

I think the Vikings would benefit more by subtraction of the Packers getting Greg Jennings, than they would in adding him.

Meaning, the loss to the Packers > The benefit to the Vikings.

And with Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, James Jones and Jermichael Finley as well as Steven Jackson ... I don't think the damage will be too great. Although I'd rather Jennings than Finley ... I think.

The Minnesota Vikings have been rumored to be one of the teams interested in signing free agent WR Greg Jennings and on Thursday it provved to be much more than that.

Greg Jennings says:

“Coaching means a lot, the dynamic of the team. To me, the quarterback means a lot, if they have one or not, and I have to make sure my family is comfortable.”

Kyle Rudolph earned MVP honors as the NFC whipped the AFC 62-35 in Sunday night's Pro Bowl game.

His 6'6' / 258 and skill set show a lot of promise and much much less of a headcase of what Finley seems to be.

dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger

Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
