How about A.J. Hawk??

I was thinking he wouldn't have a great game coming off of an injury, but he was all over the place tonight!

Yeah, Hawk was awesome tonight. Really stepped it up and made every tackle, including a couple big ones on AP..

I think the Vikings were fortunate to even be in the game at the end. I thought GB outplayed Minnesota just about every where outside of stopping the run.

With that said the Packers' defense still contained AP for just about all day long.

I recall last year the Packers having a lot of sloppy penalties early on. For a while they lead the league actually. Now that came down last year and hopefully for the Pack it does again this year.

I noticed Minnesota just committed penalties. GB committed BIG penalties especially on the Driver play which was executed to perfection by Rodgers and Driver. I guess Tony Moll didn't get the memo.

Offensive Line I would say held up very well without Scott Wells.

Rodgers offensive player of the game

Hawk defensive player of the game

Blackmon special teams player of the game

Kudos to Bob Sanders for calling more blitzes.

Penalties almost cost us this game. They called the game pretty evenly, though, with Minny getting those three penalties in a row in the red zone. We need alot more 3 and outs from the defense. Too many first downs were given, mainly because they were able to get 6 or 7 yards on first down and always had managable 3rd downs.

Kornheiser needs to go. His nonstop comparing BF and AR on every play got extremely old, and even Tirico told him to knock it off.

So did Jaws. Jaws interrupted him during one of tony's rants and said "fine, ill talk about football..." and went into the current replay.

If we had Mike and Mike, and Mike, it woulda been MUCH better. Oh well. We won. Eat it, kornheiser, I know it pissed you off.

Did anyone see Rodgers on the sidelines cheering on his team? Looked just like Favre out there!

The O-line penalties were terrible, but I have to give them credit for their excellent pass blocking. Jared who?

I give McCarthy a bit of a pass for his decision to play it safe at the end of the half. I think good coaches like McCarthy have a better feel than fans do for how to make those decisions. They were easily within field goal range (although Crosby somehow missed it), so the Vikings would've flooded the end zone with defenders and Rodgers basically would've had to throw it up for grabs.

The best thing about this win, aside from Aaron Rodgers' stellar performance, is that there is a lot of room for improvement. The talent from the 13-3 season is still there.

And yes, get Bigby off the hands team.

Kornheiser's worst moment (there are a lot to choose from) was when the Packers faced a first and 33, and he claimed that many Packer fans were thinking that Brett Favre would get them out of that situation. It's funny when Kornheiser pretends to know what the fans are thinking. Actually, he does know what some of the fans are thinking, but only the stupid ones.
