The O-line penalties were terrible, but I have to give them credit for their excellent pass blocking. Jared who?
I give McCarthy a bit of a pass for his decision to play it safe at the end of the half. I think good coaches like McCarthy have a better feel than fans do for how to make those decisions. They were easily within field goal range (although Crosby somehow missed it), so the Vikings would've flooded the end zone with defenders and Rodgers basically would've had to throw it up for grabs.
The best thing about this win, aside from Aaron Rodgers' stellar performance, is that there is a lot of room for improvement. The talent from the 13-3 season is still there.
And yes, get Bigby off the hands team.
Kornheiser's worst moment (there are a lot to choose from) was when the Packers faced a first and 33, and he claimed that many Packer fans were thinking that Brett Favre would get them out of that situation. It's funny when Kornheiser pretends to know what the fans are thinking. Actually, he does know what some of the fans are thinking, but only the stupid ones.
