What a time to loose the internet at home. I tried like crazy to get on and celebrate with you guys but to no avail. So here I am at work still excited about last nights win. Rodgers looked very confident. O line looked better than I was expecting and D did a pretty good job. Special teams did great.
Too bad DD couldn't have kept that TD. I expect more great things from DD again this season. Other than the penalities it was a fun one to watch.

GO PACK GO!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah. The sad thing is that pass won't be in the highlight films. DD looked spectacular. If I remember correctly, he broke a tackle or two, or at least dodged some tackles.

They showed the Driver non-TD again on NFL Total Access!! I was pleased. :)
He high stepped away from the first pursuer and then turned on the jets and beat the over the top help. It was purty.

Whether that TD to Driver counted or not, I believe that stung like hell to the Vikings. The flag didn't help Driver make them look silly stupid. It was all Driver and Rodgers being on the same page.

The Vikings have a feeling, its called, FEAR.

That's right, FEAR US! 🙂

"I thought it was going to be easier playing against Rodgers than Favre," defensive end Jared Allen said. "But it was easier playing Favre (last year) because he was not as mobile. (Rodgers) froze the defensive linemen with the play-action and his movement."

I give up. You are right and oh so wise.
Allen has only played in the NFL for 5 seasons. He doesn't know anything about comparing QB abilities and offensive lines at all. I am certain you know so much more than he does.

Brett would have won the game 1000-0 last night. He would have been out on the field playing defense. recorded a couple sacks and 3 ints. I will start building an alter to Favre tonight.

Rodgers is such a scumbag for daring to impersonate Brett and insinuate that Brett was going to retire just so he could steal his position as QB. It was really AR that called management and told them that he was going to retir.... no wait he was not going to ret.... , noooo waaait he was going to or maybe not retire.
Last time I looked Brett was in New York and as great as he was, he can not throw a 994 mile pass.

Give it up. Roddyboy is just waiting for us to lose one game so he can come on here and tell us that the world is coming to an end. Roddyboy is not a Packers fan, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Any more Favre laced bait in a thread that should be dedicated to the win last night and this thread will find a new home unfortunately.. wanna make the comparison, take it to the Favre forum, you will be sure to get the discussion you seek.

Please and Thank You.

I don't think everyone who contributed to this mostly great thread should be punished just because one person screwed it up. These Favre-firsters are nothing but trouble, and they usually turn out to be the same few people under different names.

Some people like team sports, and some people like individual athletes. There's nothing wrong with that. But people who like individual athletes should watch sports like golf, boxing, or tennis. There are plenty to choose from.

I just find it funny that last week you were all ripping the guy because he said he was going to sack A-Rod, and now, when Clifton handled him all night he has to save face by saying Rodgers is better than Favre, and you all agree with him like he's Moses or Jesus or something, giving the Sermon from the Mount.

Funny, that's all.

Another funny thing is that another guy says "It's a team game" when Rodgers is playing, but when Favre was a Packer, the same guy was ripping him unmercifully and blaming him for everything under the sun, including McCarthy's case of the hemmorhoids... :pottytrain2:

Funny, that's all.

Anyway, I must not be too bad. I got 39 applaudsesesssesss...
