What an embarrassment this has become.. I am certainly glad the this system is being canned and teams can play it out to become the Champion. 4 teams is at least a start.

All this build up and the NCAA has this egg laid upon it collective faces again. The clock is ticking you fat cats.

Yeah.. I've always been a huge vocal proponent against the playoff system. But I will admit that 45 days between a team's last regular season game and the National Championship is out of hand. I never liked the BCS, and have always agreed that it HAS to go, but never fully adopted the playoff system as a valid replacement. I may be wrong. But regardless.. The BCS and it's effin' computer needs to die, ASAP.

Oh, and SEC/ESPN need to get out of each other's wallets.

I hate the whole bowl system. Forcing the colleges to buy a certain amount of tickets and then selling others online is outrageous.

Was there a game?

Who won? Should I care?

Oh, yes, I knew who was playing. One team that makes Nick Saban God. The other that thinks itself God incarnate, the Duke of college football. Bleh. If there ever was a game that deserves a -3 t -2 game, this would be it.

College football has become like MLB and the NBA for me. Plus the ethos of NCAA football is part of everything that is wrong with higher education today.

I rarely watch it any more.

But when you consider it ends up being tens and thousands of dollars per institution and most of the colleges are state funded it is the tax payer that ends up picking up the tab for all of this. If the states were all in the black it would not be as big of a deal but when many or most states bankrupt (except ND but no one wants to watch their college teams play anyway.) or nearly so it is an issue.

Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy

dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
