What a weird year this has started out to be.
Here the Pats were 18-1, everyone expecting them to go all the way, and they lose thier QB in game one.
Hopefully it can be fixed for next year.

doesn't matter how durable you are. The ACL is sucks. too bad haven't evolved it out of existence. God I hate knee injuries.

Durable? C'mon, the guy hardly ever gets hit... right? I don't know that for sure, I just don't see him getting hit often. When I see his play he has minutes to decide who to throw to lol

"Zero2Cool" wrote:

That's true, but I think it's safe to say he's had injuries he's played through in the NFL. Prime example being last year, during the playoffs some sort of leg/ankle injury that he still went out and played with.

Brady is a tough dude IMO. Great QBs are durable (to quote a certain MM ) :P

Brady is a great QB.

This really makes the AFC pretty interesting. Brady may be gone for the season so the Pats are going to struggle no matter who they have under center, the Colts looked bad, the Chargers seemed to have peaked and are now on the down swing. Could it be Pittsburgh back in the Super Bowl, or heaven forbid a long shot like the Jets or Buffalo (who looked amazing yesterday)? Wow who knew week 1 would get this type of buzz being generated.

Favre reveals Brady's injury?
By Greg A. Bedard

Miami Gardens, Fla. - Brett Favre has always been known to divulge a private conversation or two (James Campen, Mike McCathy, Ted Thompson, Laveranues Coles, etc.). Now he's leaking major injury news.

When asked after the Jets' 20-14 victory over the Dolphins about the knee injury suffered by New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady -- which happened while Favre was playing at Dolphins Stadium -- Favre might have let some inside information slip.

"I just found out about that," Favre said. "That's terrible. I guess it's an ACL or something. They've always overcome injuries and things like that, but that's pretty difficult."

Either Favre got a revealing text message from Brady within 30 minutes of the end of the game, or Favre was repeating the information the Jets are hearing out of Foxboro.

Oh shucks, he's just being honest! What do you want him to lie>!!?! Discretion is for clowns and Favre is no clown!

My guess is that he just thought that since it was told to him (could have been anotehr reporter for all we know) that he assumes it was public knowledge.

Lol my brother told me on Sunday that Favre tore his MCL, joking obviously.. then 2 hours later Brady really tears both ACL and MCL. I guess we jinxed Brady. Sucks too, he's a great QB who I love to watch play. He'll be back in form next season.. prolly ready to throw 70 TDs, lol.
